The Jobcenter can grant subsidies for a more costly diet for medical reasons. You are only entitled to this additional requirement if there is a connection between the necessary cost-intensive diet (dietary change) and an existing or impending illness (e.g. protein-defined diet for renal insufficiency or gluten-free diet for celiac disease/sprue). In order to receive this benefit, medical evidence, e.g. a medical certificate, must be provided.
