With Jobcenter.digital you can communicate quickly and securely with the Jobcenter and process various concerns, including.:

• You use your personal profile, which is directly linked to your electronic benefit file (eFile) at the Jobcenter Dortmund
• Using the mailbox service, you can send a message to your case worker or employment agency
• Notify changes
• Submit a request for further approval
• Apply for child benefit or vocational training allowance
• Easily and securely transmit documents and evidence, which are uploaded directly to your eFile
• Job search: with your individual profile, you can conduct job searches in the job exchange of the Federal Employment Agency, Europe's largest job portal
• Comprehensive information on work, housing, health, etc.

You can use the services of jobcenter.digital with a computer, laptop, tablet or even smartphone. You need an internet connection.

The registration process runs digitally. For the complete registration you need your personal access data, which you have received for the use of the job exchange.

If you are not yet registered for the online services of the Federal Employment Agency, please proceed as follows:

1. Call up the page www.jobcenter.digital.
2. In the first step, register with your private e-mail address and your postal address.
3. The access data with a PIN will then be sent to you automatically by mail. In this letter, you will be advised to make a call to the service center. There, the merging of existing personal data with the Internet profile created by you and the activation of the profile. After this activation you can fully use the eService offers.

There are several ways to get the access data for Jobcenter.digital:

• Option 1: Register at jobcenter.digital. Afterwards, you will receive a PIN by mail. The service is activated for you from this point on.
• Option 2: Use your personal access data that you have received for the use of the job exchange, e.g. from your employment agency.
• Option 3: Just talk to us at your next visit or call us. We will be happy to help you.

Unfortunately, this is not possible. The digital services from the Jobcenter can only be used with an Internet-enabled terminal and Internet access. You can therefore not access the online services without Internet access.

Yes. The Job Center's digital service will continue to be available to you regardless of the Corona pandemic. So you will still be able to make applications or submit documents online.

Yes. The Job Center's online service is a supplement to the existing, analog access channels. You still have the option of contacting us in person during a counseling session or by phone. You can get all of our contact information here.

If you only know your username, but have forgotten your password, you can request it via the jobcenter.digital page. To do this, proceed as follows:

1. Call up the page www.jobcenter.digital.
2. Click on the "Login" field to get to the login area. Click on "Forgot password" to request your password by email.

If you no longer know your username, contact 0800 4 5555 00 - you will receive your login details again by mail.
