A vocational qualification is very important for professional integration and significantly reduces the risk of unemployment. However, people with family responsibilities or in special circumstances often find it particularly difficult to realise their desire for vocational training.
Are you interested in an apprenticeship but do not have the opportunity to complete it full-time?
The commissioner for Equal opportunities on the labour market (BCA) at the Job Centre, Ms Herweg-Zaide, is happy to support and advise you. She is committed to reducing disadvantages in the labour market and supports, among others, (single) parents in acquiring a sustainable professional qualification, e.g. with an Part-time vocational training. BCA also offers targeted individual and group counselling for interested customers of the Dortmund Job Centre on the topics of pregnancy, childcare, etc.
