Car/car: subsidizing the acquisition costs

Under certain circumstances, the Jobcenter can provide financial support for the necessary purchase of a car. It may be necessary to buy a car when you start work: For example, if an employer promises you a job - provided you have your own car - or you can prove that you cannot get to your new job without your own vehicle. In such cases, the Jobcenter may consider covering the costs. Important; please contact your personal advisor (e.g. employment agency, case manager) and talk to them about your plans - definitely before you buy the car.

This is a benefit from the so-called "placement budget" - there is no legal entitlement to it. You can obtain further information from your responsible advisor at the Jobcenter.
