Car/passenger car: promotion of the acquisition costs
Under certain circumstances, the Jobcenter can financially support the necessary purchase of a car. A car purchase may become necessary in the context of taking up employment: For example, if an employer agrees to hire you - on condition that you have your own car - or if you demonstrably cannot get to your new job without your own vehicle. In such cases, the Job Center may consider assuming the costs. Important; please contact your personal counseling specialist (e.g. employment agency, case manager) and talk to them about your plans - absolutely before you purchase the car.
It is a benefit from the so-called "placement budget" - a legal claim to it does not exist. For more information, please contact your responsible counseling specialist at the job center.
