Certificate of sick leave must still be submitted to the job center

Employers will have to access their employees' incapacity to work data electronically from the health insurance companies from the beginning of January 2023. Employees will then only have to "report sick" without being legally obliged to submit a certificate of incapacity for work (AUB).
However, this change does not apply to Jobcenter customers. They must continue to submit an AUB to the Jobcenter in the event of illness or incapacity for work.
You can also submit your AUB digitally. The easiest way to do this is via the online portal jobcenter.digital (Don't have access data yet? Just talk to us at your next appointment - we will be happy to give them to you directly). You can also use the contact form on our website to submit your AUB.
