Make appointments at the job center

To avoid waiting times, the Jobcenter Dortmund currently only works with appointments.
How can I make an appointment at the Jobcenter?
First contact us by phone at (0231) 842 1110 (Mon-Fri from 08 - 18 hrs).
Alternatively, you can also tell us your appointment request via your personal mailbox in the portal jobcenter.digital or via the contact form on this website. We will then get in touch with you as soon as possible.
What do I have to keep in mind when I have an appointment at the Jobcenter?
Please only come to the appointment if you feel healthy and have no cold symptoms! Please enter the building maximately five to ten minutes before your appointment to avoid waiting. Please wear amedical mask (we recommend FFP2). Please disinfect your hands when entering the building (disinfection dispensers are available at the entrance) and always keep the minimum distance of 1.5 meters.
How can I submit documents?
Documents can be sent to us by mail (address: Jobcenter Dortmund, 44120 Dortmund), online via your personal mailbox in the portal jobcenter.digital or via the contact form on this website. You can also drop documents or applications in our house mailboxes.
I have a general question (e.g., inquire about processing status, report location immateriality, etc.)?
You can reach your responsible Jobcenter location (e.g. "Jobcenter Südost" at Kaiserhain) by phone during service hours at the central number (0231) 842 1110. Likewise, to contact us, you can use your personal mailbox on the jobcenter.digital portal or the contact form on this website.
How can I reach the Jobcenter in person without an appointment?
For concerns that cannot be clarified by phone or with an appointment, we have set up so-called "Infopoints" at our locations at Kaiserhain and Steinstraße. You can reach the Infopoints:
